Frustration vs. Success

Ahoy, Sailors!

I bet you all have moments in your life where you think there's no way you can make it. Suddenly the frustration grows bigger and bigger because you prevent yourself from reaching your goals and the only solution is to overcome these bad feelings.

Finally got a Wacom as a birthday present.

I've been in that kind of mood for a few days because I realized my future is going to be different from what I thought it would be like. Leaving out all the details: I'm afraid to not get accepted into art school.
After my final examinations I want to study illustration and graphic design and that will be next year. To have enough time I'm already starting to apply. The possibility that the first school I'm choosing will take me is realistically small. From this it follows that I need to apply to three to four schools to have the chance to even get invited to an aptitude test.
Furthermore I need a different portfolio for every school I'm applying to. Every portfolio should contain about 15 to 20 works. In total that makes about 60 paintings/drawings which I need to get done until spring next year.

Well, I know that I shall not complain and that's what the title is about. Frustration versus success.
It is a constant fight and you can only be successful if you overcome the frustration which blocks you.
I'm going to work hard the next months and I'm trying my best to keep you updated on the process of making the portfolios.

I already made a series of three drawings:
Sorry, but I needed to watermark it
Bye, bye. I guess the next one will be up next sunday. Until then I hope you all overcome your demons and don't worry too much because art is supposed to be fun.
